Resilience and sustainability of human habitat
Making habitat solutions available to everyone, easily.
Nature is in crisis and the human footprint is out of control. Many solutions already exist — the bottleneck is not invention, it is adoption. Very few people know what to do, where to start, or who would do it for them.
This is the working knowledge base behind that problem, starting where we live: the fincas of Mallorca. Pools, irrigation, heating, cooling, water, building.
Every claim here carries an evidence tier, from measured on a site we instrumenteddown to heard from a neighbour. Both are legitimate inputs; presenting the second as the first is not. Where we have not yet read a source at first hand, the page says so.

Nature is in crisis. The human footprint is out of control, and humans will suffer from it.

The map of what we need to know. Its job is to turn "learn about fincas" into a finite, addressable list of domains that can each be researched, measu…

How we get from "this seems like a good idea" to "this produced a measured result." This protocol applies to every intervention we design, implement o…

The knowledge itself
Research organised by resource flow, because flows are conserved and measurable — and indexed by asset, because that is how people describe the problem.
